Exhaust Gas By-Pass System

The PLANA exhaust gas by-pass system allows controlled diversion of hot flows from the turbine to the stack or HRSG, depending on the operating mode. It includes diverters, dampers, actuators, seals, and support structures, all designed to ensure tightness and reliability under extreme thermal and mechanical conditions. Each system is custom-engineered to meet plant specifications.

Diverter
  
The PLANA diverter is designed to control and redirect exhaust gas flow efficiently, enabling rapid switching between simple and combined cycle modes. It ensures a geometric sealing level over 99.95%, reaching 100% with the sealing air system.
Diffuser
  
Exhaust diffuser designed to optimize the exhaust gas flow, reducing pressure losses and improving system energy efficiency
Stack Silencer
Designed to effectively reduce the noise generated by gas exhaust, ensuring compliance with acoustic regulations and uninterrupted operation.
Textile and Metallic Expansion Joints
PLANA expansion joints, available in textile and metallic versions, are designed to absorb axial, lateral, and angular movements caused by thermal variations, vibrations, or structural settling in industrial plants.
